Terms and Conditions.

The following terms of the Tweed Valley Liquor Accord have been updated to include a unanimous motion voted at general meetings. Under Section 134 of the Liquor Act 2007, to agree to these terms, please become a current member of the Tweed Liquor Accord.

These terms will be undertaken by members of the Tweed Valley Liquor Accord for the purpose of eliminating or reducing alcohol-related violence or anti-social behaviour or other alcohol related harm in the Tweed Liquor Accord area.

Members of the Tweed Valley Liquor Accord will adhere to each of the following:

  • Abide by the Accord’s Constitution

  • May refuse entry to patrons seen drinking on approach to venues

  • A door policy

  • Attending any workshops that the Accord puts on

  • Guidelines set out by the liquor accord for each peak/period major event

  • Not selling any drink (commonly referred to as a “shot”), that contains no more then 30ml of spirits and liqueur and that is designed to be consumed rapidly, at all times.

  • No selling of double nips after 9pm

  • Outlawed Motorcycle gangs entry policy (Term number 1 - added 19th March 2014)

Accord licensees must ensure that no person is allowed entry into, or is permitted to remain on the licensed premises if that person is wearing any clothing, jewellery or accessory, which displays:

  1. The name of any of the following organisations:

    1.1. Bandidos, Black Uhlans, Coffin Cheaters, Commanchero, Finks, Fourth Reich, Gladiators, Gypsy Jokers, Hells Angels, Highway 61, Life and Death, Lone Wolf, Mobshitters, Mongols, Muslim Brotherhood Movement, Nomads, Notorious, Odins Warriors, Outcasts, Outlaws, Phoenix, Rebels, or Scorpions;

  2. The “colours”, club patch, insignia or logo of any of the organisations specified in (1.1) above;

  3. The “1%” or “1%er” symbol;

  4. Any image, symbol, abbreviation, acronym, or other from of words which indicates membership or association with any of the organisations specified in (1.1) above.
